Pomegranate Swirl and Duo Felt Baubles

Stunningly beautiful, these hand felted baubles are eye-catching, symbolic and a gorgeous addition to any tree this holiday season! Using locally sourced hand dyed wool, these oatmeal colour baubles have 2 designs, one with two pomegranates on either side of a branch and one with a pomegranate inside a swirl. Both have a twig with a leaf and bud on the reverse side.

The pomegranate symbolises eternal life and fertility. It is often featured in ancient Armenian architecture adorning church entrances, cross-stones (khachkars), reliefs, cornices and also depicted in ancient manuscripts. It is still a popular feature in modern architecture in Armenia.
